The ancient star vaults, carefully recovered by local craftsmen, house a large open space where Ermes Aurelia’s porcelain stoneware – Pietra di Lecce series stands out. A material that adds two trendy versions to the warm colors typical of Salento stone. The rustic edge and three different modular formats suggest a wide range of laying patterns to be used both indoors and outdoors. A different material, shaped into a form with particular irregular edges that call to mind the ancient manual processes of extracting natural stones with an effect capable of creating a set of unique products of extraordinary authenticity. A solution to create personalized spaces and give life to different environments characterized by authentic character.
PRIVATE HOME - RACALE
An old house in the historic center of R acale, carefully recovered to a design by designer Renzo Di Maria. The floors of the large entrance hall are by ABK – Docks series in 80×80 format. A collection with a contemporary mark, which is developed in six different complementary and versatile neutral tones that recalls the expressiveness of resins through two different surfaces. The natural finish absorbs light and is soft to the touch while maintaining its non-slip properties, the glossy version adds character and special textural suggestions to the rooms. The staircase leading to the second floor features cement tiles again by ABK – Play series: a real universe in which stylistic solutions inspired by cement tiles and old majolica coexist.
